Booked Cos Freight though a recommendation, there was great communication and explanation of the service. Sam was great in planning and having the discussion around the available dates, really appreciated the follow up call.

The movers that came on the day, again highly considerate of our belongings. Really professional and not one item was lost or damaged in the move.

Totally stress free process. I will use again as these guys actually care and do a proper job.

The WORST SERVICE EVER.
(for a £2,900 job)

1) surprisingly slow delivery
2) careless handling of freight
3) never contact the customer regarding the job after they are paid
4) no will to solve a problem

I hired this company for an international removal in September last year. It took about 90 days to receive the freight which I was told to take approximately 30-45 days top. Imagine that you are moved into an empty house when you are in a new country, without knowing when to receive your things. Not a pleasant situation, believe me.

By the way, the furnitures were damaged as well. Naturally, I claimed the insurance for the damages, and they told me it is all processed and would be transferred SHORTLY. It was JANUARY this year and I have not received any. I have been trying to find out what is hindering the payment, but all they say is that the claims is processed and I have to wait without knowing why it is taking so long. I sent a bunch of emails and made a lot of phone calls to get the same useless answer for more than 5 months. What a professional job they are doing over there.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO EVEN TAKE A QUOTE.

It’s almost a full year that I’m suffering because of a wrong call I made with them.

I wouldn’t spend my time to leave a review if they ever tried to sort out the problem.

A totally professional firm. Sam contacted us as soon as the shipment arrived into the UK and confirmed a delivery date as soon as available, together with a delivery time.
The delivery crew arrived exactly on time and were professional, respectful and totally competent, even taking away all the packaging.
Cannot highly recommend this removal firm enough.
Made the last of this removal totally hassle free.

Cos Freight were exceptional in their performance, especially since my request was very last minute and I realise how troublesome it could have been to arrange everything.

They 100% give an impression of a professional, experienced company - when I told them I'll be moving from London to Amsterdam they immediately inquired whether I'll need an external lift and a parking permit.

Their customer service is impeccable, everyone were always very polite and helpful (huge shoutout to Syd for being so patient with me!), I never once felt anxiety throughout the process!

The shipment arrived promptly and on time, without any damages. Would highly recommend!

Craig from Cos Freight came out and did a comprehensive review of the items in our house. He was extremely professional as was the quote and material supplied. The price was a little higher than other quote but I felt like I was in good hands and was not disappointed. With all that's going on with Covid, Cos Freight was really Flexible on the date and fantastic on the day. They arrived on time, well mannered and did a review of the content to pack. Then layout protective flooring. We had to box it all up the items but they dismantled the furniture and reassembled at the other end. Which meant with 2 kids we at least had a bed without hassel. Thank again and would definitely recommend.

A very good service. The move was from a 5 bedroom house with full packing and unpacking service. The project took place over 3 days. It was a really pleasure to be with the crew all the time. They did an amazing job. The quality of the packing / moving was excellent. Very efficient and organised. Also, the move coordinator at Cos Freight was very competent and keep me updated throughout entire process so I knew what was happening. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend Cos Freight to anyone who wants an immaculate and stress free service.

After some pretty extensive research and numerous calls & quotations from other companies, we finally decided to go with Cos Freight for the big move. 3 bed semi + full garage to 4 bed semi. The level of customer service from the initial contact up to the last box being moved into our new home was nothing but outstanding. One thing when people say what they're going to do. Another when people do what they said they were going to do. The team arrived on time and the team lead conducted a walk around with us before loading. Our property was handled carefully and with respect, not a single item was broken during the move (20miles), packaging was of good strong quality as well. They took care of everything whilst we focused on the sale process and left them to crack on. Of course there were other competitive prices out there but not much of a difference cost in most cases. The customer experience and excellent communication is where Cos Freight were miles ahead, from the initial contact; home visit to survey up to the move day. I would highly recommend Cos Freight to others looking for removals and use their service again in the future.

Very friendly and helpful company. Cos Freight was the first one who come to do the survey in my house and I have the cheapest quotation from them even after add premium insurance.

Mark is very helpful and he suggested that we should schedule the move over 2 days. On the second day, they even send more man since I just have too many stuffs. I moved into a 20th floor flat. Although there is a lift but it is still very difficult plus I have about 6 solid wood cabinets need to be reassembled But the boys were very good and they worked until 20:30 on the day to finish every bit of job and leave no rubbish behind

They were efficient and professional. If you are looking for a good service and save your money, they are the people you need to contact.

I had never used a moving company before, but came across Cos Freight on a comparison website. They were quick to get back to me (within the same day) and did a quick costing over the phone. They were really attentive to my personal circumstances which were difficult at the time, and were willing to be flexible with pricing! The removals team showed up on time, were keen to help, and made sure to follow up with me in un-loading my stuff in my storage unit. Their customer service team also kept in touch regularly before and after the removal. They offer full packing services, a range of vans to suit your needs. Really great company. My only critiques is that they could be more consistent with their pricing, as a couple of times I was quoted different amounts, and their removal team could have been a little more delicate when packing my stuff. Overall though, very happy!

Service cost: £450

For my move, Cos Freight really messed up. They were about 1,000 pounds more than the cheapest competitor, but they said they would have my items to me in 3 to 4 weeks and the cheapest one said 8 to 12 weeks, so I decided I wanted my stuff sooner and it would be worth the extra money, so went with them.
My items were in storage and Cos Freight contacted the storage company to arrange to pick up my items, everything is going fine. I paid the deposit. Then after not hearing back from Cos Freight on the pick-up, I tried to contact my representative Sam. Several more emails and attempted phone calls nothing from Sam, then I sent an email to the main email box and called the front desk, they know nothing of my move or pick up. Finally, Sam contacted me and said my order got lost when he was on Holiday. OK that delayed my move a week and half.
The storage company (Bystored) is suddenly busy and only has one pick-up date available for the next 3 weeks, I tell Cos Freight this, and they can’t make that date. I would think, since they messed up last week, they would do what they can to make this one date, but they don’t. To their credit, Cos Freight offered to pick up my stuff on weekends or after hours, but the storage company didn’t budge and Cos Freight was like “OK three weeks it is”. I wasn’t having that, and after a lot of back and forth with Bystored they wanted to get rid of me as a customer and opened up some new dates. So this delayed the move another week and half.
Then my stuff was going to be loaded on the boat, and I was told I needed to pay the full amount ahead of time. I was not aware of this, and needed to move some money around and it would take a few days. They said they would go ahead and ship, since they already delayed my move 3 weeks because of their errors. They didn’t. I was told there were “Weather” delays. I don’t believe this. My stuff was loaded the next week. So now we are delayed 4 weeks.
My stuff finally arrived a month later than promised and items are missing. I suspect stolen, as the missing items are a hoverboard and small electric smoker, that were only used a few times and stored in their original boxes. Also, some other items are missing, such as a side of the desk that holds it up making the desk useless. Some of my mom’s China is broken, that survived 4 moves, but not Cos Freight. I don’t know if the storage company did this, or Cos Freight, but at the very least Cos Freight should have done a thorough check of the inventory from Bystored and noticed the items were missing/broken.
The insurance company didn't pay for these items as I neglected to find the broken China in time to make a claim, which is 30 days, and I was sick for two weeks. The other items I didn't list on the initial form as I didn't realize you need to list out every appliance you own. So for future movers remember to list out your coffee makers, waffle irons, etc.
Cos Freight did give me a £97 discount for my troubles, which was to offset the additional costs from the storage company and really nothing in consideration for the extra time, costs and headache they caused.
Long Story Short: They messed up, delayed my move 4 weeks and didn’t do a good inventory check from the storage company and/or they stole/lost/broke my stuff. Would not recommend!

Service cost: £45000

I chose Cos removals after looking at a number of removal companies. Sam was excellent in helping to organise our removals and offering useful advice. The removal day was made stress-free by Cos’s professionalism and excellent organisation. The removal men turned up on time and were quick and efficient. They took all necessary precautions to ensure our belongings were packed safely and not damaged. This is the best removal experience I have had. I will use cos again in any future move and highly recommend them.

My partner and I have recently relocated from the UK to Roseville, California. It was the first time we had ever made a move like this (we had only moved locally before) and we were having a real struggle to find movers that made us feel comfortable to use as we faced moving our lives half way around the world. The team at Cos Freight were always responsive to our emails and calls and reassured us along the way and on the run up to move day. The movers arrived, they were a great team, polite and just got on with the job in hand. They were also totally flexible with some of the changes we wanted to made to things that we were packing. The guys carefully packed our possessions and off they went. We were kept up to date by Cos Freight until our shipment left the UK. NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING was damaged! The packing done by Cos Freight in the UK was simple AMAZING. My partner and I recommend Cos Freight 110%.

Well, what can I say, never used a removal company before so was somewhat apprehensive. Lockdown meant we had to keep changing our move date forward, Amir at CosFreight couldn’t have been more helpful. We received a competitive quote for disassembly, removal and reassembly into the appropriate rooms. Even gave me packaging to pack my items into boxes which was better than the boxes from the supermarkets.

Having never used a removal company before I was used to moving things myself and thought I would have to direct the guys at every step – not at all. I sat around with nothing do to while a big team of guys did all of the work. They loaded a whole house worth of stuff in just a few hours (the same at the other end too).

The guys could not have been more courteous, always calling me Sir and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made sure everything was packed well into the vans, TVs and any fragile items were all well looked after. The team kept me informed all he way and honestly can’t fault them.

Furniture was not dumped, it was placed in any location of my choosing, moved around if needed.

Overall, I can’t fault them, I don’t intend to move again but if I did, I would definitely use CosFreight again. Our move co-ordinater Amir was great, he was respectful, great communicator and put me at ease, keeping me informed of everything that needed to happen every step of the way.

I will be recommended these guys to my friends and family, made a very stressful move (due to lockdown) a stress-free event.

We were so pleased to have been told about Cos Freight by a neighbour who had needed a removal company at very short notice. And we did too, exchanging contracts just one day before completion. Cos Freight were very understanding and flexible with our ever-changing predictions of a completion date. On the day, everything was amazingly efficient. No problems at all. Nothing broken. Nothing lost. All of the five-man crew were extremely pleasant and hard-working. All done in one day; other firms had wanted two days and would have charged a lot more.
